Junior defensive end Jonathan Allen appears to be returning to school for his senior season. The star pass rusher tweeted the following on Saturday afternoon:

Allen led Alabama with 12 sacks this season as the Crimson Tide defense posted 52 sacks, the most in the nation. He started 11 games during the 2015 season and was a key part of Alabama's defensive line.

With his return, Alabama will return its four leaders in sacks from this season. Allen, junior outside linebacker Tim Williams (10.5), junior outside linebacker Ryan Anderson (6.0) and sophomore Rashaan Evans (4.0) will also be back.

Running back Derrick Henry and defensive tackle A'Shawn Robinson are the only Alabama underclassmen to have declared their intention to enter the 2016 NFL draft, though some other players have not yet announced a decision.

The deadline for underclassmen to enter the 2016 draft is Monday, Jan. 18. A list of underclassmen who have entered the draft will be made public on Jan. 22.
